Sean joined our firm in December 2000 after practicing for several years as a legal services attorney representing agricultural workers in Yakima, Washington. She grew up in upstate New York and earned her B.A. from Cornell University in 1987. Sean began her legal career working as a paralegal on asbestos litigation on behalf of construction trades workers and on pesticide exposures among farm workers. Before becoming a lawyer, she spent a year working on a primary health care project in Cote dIvoire, West Africa.
Sean earned her law degree from the City University of New York (CUNY) Law School in Queens, New York. She is admitted to practice in both New York and Washington. Sean is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.
Sean is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the Washington Employment Lawyers Association (WELA). She has presented at WELA and Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA) Conferences, and serves on the board of the Feminist Womens Health Center.
